Frequently asked questions
How long does treatment typically take?
It depends on what is going on and what your goals are, so there is no generic answer worth giving. What we can tell you is that your plan will have clear phases, measurable goals, and a realistic timeline from the start. The goal is always to get you to a place where you do not need us anymore.
How do I know if my issue is something you treat?
If it involves your pelvic floor, there’s a strong chance it belongs here. I work with women experiencing leaking, urgency, pelvic pain, painful intimacy, prolapse, constipation, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, surgical recovery, and return to fitness. If you’re not sure, request an appointment and tell me what’s going on, or call me at 541-316-0393. I’ll confirm it’s something I can help with before we schedule your evaluation.
Can I work with you if I don’t live near Redmond?
Yes. I can work with you virtually, wherever you live. While I’d love to see you in person, distance shouldn’t be the reason you keep living with symptoms. Much of this work is understanding what your body is doing and changing how you breathe, move, and build strength, and I’ll guide you through all of it live, one-on-one, from the comfort of your own home.
Wherever you live, you get me: the same full hour, the same attention, and everything I’ve learned as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and pelvic health specialist. The only difference is what your sessions are called. In Oregon and California, where I’m licensed, they’re physical therapy, and you’ll get a superbill to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. In every other state, they’re pelvic health coaching, and there’s no superbill.
Not sure whether virtual sessions fit what you’re dealing with? Call me at 541-316-0393 and and we’ll talk it through.
Do you accept insurance?
I don’t bill insurance directly, and that’s intentional. It lets me spend the time your care requires and build your plan around your goals instead of billing codes. Oregon and California patients receive a detailed superbill by email after every session, which you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. You can see my rates and how superbills work on the Insurance and Pricing page.
What happens after I request an appointment?
I’ll call you personally, usually at the time of day you told me works best. It’s a short call with a clear purpose: I’ll ask about your symptoms and goals, confirm that I’m the right provider for what you’re dealing with, and answer your questions about care and cost. If we’re a fit, we’ll schedule your initial evaluation on that call. That visit is a full hour, one-on-one with me, for $220. Payment is collected once your visit is confirmed, not when you submit the form.
refer to call me directly? You can reach me at 541-316-0393 and we’ll have the same conversation and get your evaluation scheduled.
Do I need a referral to get started?
No. Oregon is a direct access state for physical therapy, which means you can schedule with Floored without a referral from your doctor. If you are out of state, the same applies to our remote wellness services.
