Frequently asked questions
How long does treatment typically take?
It depends on what is going on and what your goals are, so there is no generic answer worth giving. What we can tell you is that your plan will have clear phases, measurable goals, and a realistic timeline from the start. The goal is always to get you to a place where you do not need us anymore.
How do I know if my issue is something you treat?
If it involves your pelvic floor, there is a strong chance it belongs here. Floored works with women experiencing leaking, urgency, pelvic pain, painful intimacy, prolapse, constipation, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, surgical recovery, and return to fitness. If you are not sure, that is exactly what the free consultation is for.
I do not live in Oregon. Can I still work with you?
Yes. Floored offers remote sessions via Google Meet for women across the country. Remote care includes education, movement coaching, and a personalized wellness plan. Many women see meaningful progress without ever stepping into the clinic.
Do you accept insurance?
Floored does not accept insurance directly. This is intentional. It allows Dr. Sarah to spend the time your care actually requires and build your plan around your goals instead of billing codes. If you are an Oregon resident receiving physical therapy services, we provide superbill receipts you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
What happens during the free consultation?
We talk. You share what is going on, what you have tried, and what you want your life to look like. From there, Dr. Sarah will let you know whether Floored is the right fit and what the next steps would be. There is no pressure to commit and no exam at this stage.
Do I need a referral to get started?
No. Oregon is a direct access state for physical therapy, which means you can schedule with Floored without a referral from your doctor. If you are out of state, the same applies to our remote wellness services.
